Benefits

Efficacy
SPLAT FCM is as effective as conventional pesticides at controlling FCM. Moths do not develop resistance to the pheromones, eliminating the need for increasing product use over time. Each application provides approximately 12 weeks of control, with two applications recommended per season, reducing overall costs.

Rainfast
Once dry on the foliar surface, SPLAT FCM is rainfast, so reapplication is not required even under extended wet conditions.

No Grower Effort
Applications are handled by professional River Bioscience teams, reducing labour needs and training requirements, while ensuring accurate and effective deployment.

Safety
SPLAT FCM is environmentally safe and poses no risk to humans, wildlife, or beneficial insects.

How does it work?
SPLAT FCM is applied to the top third of the canopy, where it releases precise amounts of pheromone to disrupt male FCM from locating females.
By confusing males, mating is interrupted, preventing fertilisation.
The effect lasts for up to 24 weeks, making SPLAT FCM a reliable foundation for the sustainable and successful management of FCM.
Efficacy & Trial Data:
SPLAT FCM results in a 50% reduction in infestation.
SPLAT FCM results in an 85% reduction in adult moth population (based on monitoring data/trap catches).
