Vacancy – QC Inspector
River Bioscience has an opportunity for a Quality Control Inspector to join our team. This permanent position will be based at our Addo facility. The QC Inspector is responsible for performing various QC related activities and processes, working with the wider production team and ensuring that QC sampling and data is updated timeously to achieve the QC sampling targets set out.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for working accurately with various data and information.
- Perform work safely and follow established work procedures/protocols.
- Perform general tasks in the QC department as assigned by Manager.
- Performing various inspections, sampling, labelling and data capturing for the QC department in both the Chemical and Insect departments.
- Report inspection and test data results to supervisor/manager.
- Responsible for QC receiving and dispatching.
- QC cleanliness, calibration file and waste management.
- Aid in the maintenance and administration of the quality control Folder and documentation.
- Aid in the QM system as and when required, including inspections and administration.
- Assist with any other tasks necessary for the assurance of quality and conformance of products.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 Certificate.
- Computer Literate.
- Ability to work with detail, numbers and data.
- Min of 1 years’ experience in a quality department or related field will be beneficial.
