Control of false codling moth larvae in citrus.
River Bioscience has developed CryptoMax™, a new insect pathogenic virus product that targets and kills FCM larvae before they infest fruit.
False codling moth (Thaumatotibia leucotreta)
Once the product is applied, newly hatched FCM larvae are exposed to CryptoMax™ on the surface of fruit. Larvae ingest the granulovirus while attempting to penetrate the fruit and are subsequently killed.
