River Bioscience (Pty) Ltd, a biorational company, has an exciting opportunity for a General Worker to join the team. This permanent position will be based at our Addo Facility. The General worker will work directly with the production team to ensure that we can dispatch various biological control products to the various stakeholders on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist production team to meet daily/weekly targets
- Assist production team to dispatch finished goods to be to clients
- Assist production team to receive raw materials from supplier
- General cleaning of production facility
- Assist operators with monthly stock counts
- Support the efforts of the production team, as a whole, to achieve production objectives
- Responsible for assisting with ad-hoc functions as directed by supervisors/managers
Education & Training:
- Basic understanding of English: speaking, writing and reading
- Must be medically fit (and physically able to carry items, move, pick up, bend etc)
- Must reside in the area
- Other knowledge and skill requirements:
- Be neat and organized
- Ability to maintain LEAN/5S standards
- Ability to work in a team
- Capable of following a protocol/work instruction
Experience:
- Work in a similar role will receive preference.
